Land of Oz – Liberal, Kansas

Kansas tourism shouldn’t ignore western Kansas and the area of Liberal. Here you can take a trip back in time to the Land of Oz. Visit the 5,000 square feet of animated entertainment in this community. See the good and bad witches, the Munchkins, talking trees, winged monkeys and of course the wonderful Dorothy. You will also get to see the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion along with Toto.
A trip along the Yellow Brick Road can open up a world full of memories for you. Take a tour escorted by Dorothy, Auntie Em or Uncle Henry. You can ask them all the questions you have ever had about the movie and they will be able to tell you the stories.
See the memorabilia that is on display in the facility. You will see a model of Dorothy’s house, a Munchkin room with all the little dresses and shoes that you have seen in the movie. There are many pictorial accounts of the Munchkins and their careers.
