It is generally agreed by numerous gamers and critics together that Bioshock is one of the greatest First Person Shooters during the past 10 years. It boasts a typical critic score of 96% at Metacritic.com, and some cirlces even describe the title as a work of art. Bioshock’s storyline is in various techniques based on and inspired by the hottest novel “Atlas Shrugged”, and revolves round the geopolitical situations happening in an underwater Atlantis-like city called Rapture.
In a departure from the original title, the Bioshock 2 game will put you in charge of the sluggish and lumbering Big Daddy. As Bioshock character Jack discovered, mutated and revolting creatures called Splicers were at large in the district, roaming and slaughtering at will. These creatures were actually all that was remaining of the society.
Throughout the Bioshock 2 game, Big Daddy has the dangerous task of returning to Rapture, looking into a series of abductions. It appears the multitude of Little Sisters that managed to the surface in the original game are being robbed away and taken back to the shadows of Rapture, and it’s down to Big Daddy to rescue things.
The Bioshock 2 game follows the basics and peculiarities of the first, with some prominent changes on the gaming. Graphical improvements are also present, with the game performing a lot more smoothlysmoother, allowing for a seamless demonstration of graphics. This adds to the feeling of a good game, and producers 2K have pulled it off with merit.
Of course being in charge of a robot does allow various gaming benefits, he is ready to combine a number of guns and drills in one hand, while using the magical ‘plasmid’ with the other hand. Plasmid is used to make electricity, fire and also to control objects by telekinesis. The talents are built upon throughout the game and levelled up as you progress.

There are some updated locations in Rapture, it’s now easy to investigate the ocean bed and investigate the techniques within the dome of the town One draw back with the original was that the range of enemies was limited and repeated, and this has been nicely corrected in the sequel with a variety of interesting creatures. Look out for Big Sister, who hinders your quest and will try and you at varied parts. 2K Games are wanting a release this Fall, and for all fans of the original, the Bioshock 2 game is being released simultaneously on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows platforms and cannot arrive fast enough!
