The plastic garbage in our landfills isn't doing what garbage is supposed to do-it isn't rotting. Those milk jugs could take 400 years to biodegrade. Imagine if something could be done with them besides making our garbage mounds higher. What if, for example, those old milk jugs could be recycled and made into a building material? What if those old milk jugs could be used to make recycled plastic patio sets that were actually desirable to consumers, and thereby save a few trees in the process? It's happening now. Attractive recycled plastic patio sets are available today.

Recycling Plastic In Place of Timber makes incredible green sense. While all that plastic is filling our landfills, over thirty acres of forest land is cleared every day in Africa just to provide Ireland with timber. Multiply that by all the countries and all the people in the world, and it's pretty clear that we're cutting down more trees for virgin timber than we can replant.

Recycled plastic outdoor furniture is a sensible alternative to virgin timber. Not only do they spare trees, thus promoting a more sustainable timber industry, they actually take garbage out of landfills! This garbage is then used to make recycled plastic patio sets, the latest innovation in outdoor furniture.

Recycled Plastic Patio furniture is as attractive as wood furniture, while being at the same time more durable and easier to maintain. The more people choose recycled plastic patio sets over their wood furniture, the less costly it becomes to manufacture them, and its' a win-win situation for both consumers and the environment.

Recycled plastic is durable. Unlike wood furniture, recycled plastic patio sets don't rot, grow moss or algae, react to dampness or absorb water, frost, or ultraviolet radiation. It won't crack, or splinter and lasts ten times longer than wood.

Recycled Plastic provides a Lasting Green Advantage. Wood rots, Plastic doesn't. In a landfill, that's bad. In recycled plastic patio sets, that means you could pass them on from generation to generation, so that's actually a plus. The recycled plastic patio sets are dyed clear through when they're manufactured, so the color won't peel off. The plastic is tough and heavy-duty and requires almost no maintenance.

Plastic waste, much to our great displeasure, does not rot. When that plastic waste is turned into recycled plastic patio sets, that liability becomes an asset. When the outdoor furniture is manufactured, the plastic is dyed inside and out, so there is no peeling or wear like an ordinary paint finish would do. It is exceptionally tough and can withstand all the wear and tear of heavy easily, and requires almost nothing in the way of maintenance.

Buying Recycled Plastic Patio Furniture is Smart and Economical. Recycled plastic patio furniture is not all that different in cost to wood furniture, and is very cost-competitive with the best hardwoods, like mahogany or teak. It may even be less expensive. On the surface, quality recycled plastic costs 3x the price of good old southern pine. But that's only the purchase price. The wood needs to be sanded, sealed, and maybe painted, and all that most likely will cost you money and time. Now, try to fix in your mind a monetary value for hassles like splinters.

Now, try to fix in your mind a cash value for aggravations like splinters. Lastly, think about how often you'll have to replace that plain old basic southern pine. Teak may last a very long time, but not forever. And plain old southern pine won't last long at all. Recycled plastic, on the other hand will last over 400 years with only minimal degradation. At the end of the day, recycled plastic patio sets have a higher initial cost than cheap wood patio sets, but over time, are more economical.
